Brett Stowe
Knysna, South Africa
I was born and raised in north Alabama. I grew up in a ministry home and realized at a young age that I was a sinner who needed a Savior. After learning of the penalty that my sin deserved, I repented of my sins and believed in the Gospel at the age of four. God was faithful and continued to cultivate my love for Him and His Word throughout my teenage and university years.
The Lord burdened my heart for the work of international church planting my senior year in college. Because of this, I went on to complete a masters degree in missions as to way to explore this burden. I met my wife, Brittni, while working at a summer camp and in 2015 we were married.
After serving as an intern in our home church for a year, me and my wife pursued God’s call of church planting in South Africa. After three years of support raising, we moved to South Africa in 2019 to begin our ministry. I currently serve as the planter and pastor of Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Knysna, SA. I also serve as the Director of the Foundations Theological Institute in George. God has given us two wonderful children! Our family loves exploring the beautiful and rugged terrain of southern Africa.
