I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was blessed to grow up in a family that was filled with God’s Word. My parents gave their lives to Christ as young adults and met while serving their local church. As a young boy, I placed my faith in Christ alone and began studying God’s Word for myself. After earning a bachelor’s degree at a small Christian college in Indiana and working in a violin shop for a few years, I married my lovely wife and headed back to school in South Carolina to prepare for pastoral ministry.
After 4 years and 3 baby boys, God graciously helped me complete my seminary training and led us 2,000 miles across the country to Southern California where I now serve as an Assistant Pastor at Grace Bible Church of Menifee. My beautiful (and courageous) wife and I now have 4 active boys—Josiah, Micah, Judah, and Noah and hundreds of legos all around our house. We love to hike the hills, ride our bikes, read good books, eat ice cream, make forts, and take evening walks together as a family. I love spending time with my family, my church family, and my Savior Jesus Christ.
